Environmental Policy

My goal is to create a warm and welcoming retreat, while maintaining a positive balance with the local and global environment. As a Vermont Business Environmental Partner, I am committed to protecting the environment, the health and safety of my guests, and strengthening my relationships with business partners in my local community.

It is my policy to seek improvements throughout my business operations to minimize the Inn's impact on the local and global environment by conserving energy, water, and other natural resources; reducing waste by recycling and purchasing recycled products; and, reducing the use of toxic products. I am committed to pollution prevention, continual improvement, and meeting or exceeding environmental regulatory requirements.

As a Green Hotel, I work to maintain or exceed Green Hotel standards set by the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources and the Vermont Small Business Development Center.
